Remote control functions

Troubleshooting

If your

isn’t responding, follow these steps to resolve common issues:

1. Check the remote batteries: If the buttons on the remote control don’t light up properly when pushed, you may need to replace the batteries. If the buttons on the remote illuminate properly, continue to the next step.
2. Confirm power connection: Verify that the base is plugged into the power brick and that the outlet is working by testing it with another device. Unplug and replug the base to reset the connection.
3. Unlock the remote: If the remote lights up but the base doesn’t respond, it may be locked. Hold the top right lock button for five to seven seconds until the lights flash, then release it. The base should now respond.
4. Reprogram the remote: If issues persist, reprogram the remote to the base. Follow the instructions in the diagram below:

If there are additional concerns, follow these instructions:

Head/foot section will elevate but won’t return to flat position:

• Check for any obstructions and remove them.
• Ensure the head section isn’t too close to the wall.
• Verify that the headboard isn’t too close to the mattress (1.5-inch to 2-inch gap).
• Elevate the base slightly to realign the mechanisms.

Noisy motor:

• Ensure the base isn’t against a wall, furniture, or any object causing vibration.
• Place carpet or rubber cups under each leg if placed on hard flooring.
• Tighten leg extensions firmly (if used).
• If using an air mattress, check if the air mattress pump is causing the noise.

Emergency power-down:

• The base has an emergency power-down feature to lower it to a flat position in case of a power outage.
